  8. TimeKeep is a time-clock utility for keeping track of time spent on
  9. projects for client billing on a per hour basis.
  10.  
  11. Clients and Projects can be defined and a time clock interface used to
  12. TimeIn and TimeOut on a selected project.  TimeKeep will remember which
  13. project is currently in progress and will select it automatically when
  14. the program is re-started.
  15.  
  16. In addition, TimeKeep has the ability to keep track of per hour rates and
  17. expenses for individual projects.  TimeKeep will create output files
  18. containing this information which can be used to create invoices.  As an
  19. example, ARexx scripts are included which will create invoices based on
  20. the TimeKeep datafiles.

  22. TimeKeep can keeps a running total (SoFar) of dollar values applied to
  23. each Client and Project (expenses, billable hours), until an invoice is
  24. created.  As well, you can also define preset expenses such as mileage,
  25. etc.

  27. This software could also be used for keeping track of hours spent on
  28. software development.  However, another utility is available to better
  29. handle this type of time keeping: TimeKeep-Dev.
